The Institute have 3 different buildings in Umbertide, Montone and Pietralunga. Our institution covers a wide range of education levels, from preschool to lower secondary school. We work with students from 3 to 14 years old. The main activities of our Institute include:
School education: The institute adopts a vertical curriculum from preschool to lower secondary school aimed at achieving key skills, social inclusion, and active citizenship. There are different hourly modulations: up to 40 hours in preschool, normal or full-time in primary school, and from 30 up to 36 hours in lower secondary school.
Our Institute also offer a particular curriculum in music studies for the students in lower secondary school, with theoretical and practical lessons on an instrument of choice such as guitar, flute, piano, violin. It also has a school orchestra. Students in the orchestra have the opportunity to participate in concerts, events, and manifestations at the local, national, and international levels. In 2024 the IC Umbertide got the Accreditation Erasmus+ for KA1 projects, guaranteeing 7 years of mobilities for teachers, administrators and students.
